Indoxacarb/恶二唑虫 生物活性

描述 Indoxacarb, known chemically as (±)-Indoxacarb or DPX-JW062, is an oxadiazine insecticide noted for its broad-spectrum activity and high insecticidal potency coupled with low toxicity to mammals. It operates by blocking sodium channels in insect nerve preparations and isolated neurons[1].
体外研究

In insects, Indoxacarb undergoes metabolic conversion to N-decarbomethoxyllated JW062 (DCJW), which exhibits greater activity than the original compound. This makes Indoxacarb a valuable alternative to pyrethroid insecticides, particularly for managing lepidopterous pests that affect agriculture[1].
