1-Octanol/正辛醇 生物活性

描述 1-Octanol (Octanol), a saturated fatty alcohol, is a T-type calcium channels (T-channels) inhibitor. 1-octanol inhibited native T-currents at subanesthetic concentrations with an IC(50) of approximately 4 muM. n contrast, 1-octanol was up to 30-fold less potent in inhibiting recombinant Ca(V)3.3 T-channels heterologously expressed in human embryonic kidney cells[3]. Its inhibitory effect was confirmed in vitro and 3 mM 1-octanol totally inhibited spore germination while 100 μM only transiently inhibited spore germination[4].
