CNDAC HCl 生物活性

描述 CNDAC hydrochloride, a metabolite of the orally active agent Sapacitabine, acts as a nucleoside analog that prompts DNA damage and apoptosis[1].[2].
体外研究

CNDAC employs a distinctive mechanism by inducing single-strand breaks (SSBs) in DNA, which transform into double-strand breaks (DSBs) during a subsequent S phase, highlighting its unique action mode[1].

Sensitivity to CNDAC is increased in cells lacking Rad51D and XRCC3, with exposure ranges from 0 to 1 μM for 24 hours[1].

Moreover, CNDAC inhibits the proliferation of HL-60 and THP-1 cells at concentrations from 0 to 100 μM over 3 days and induces apoptosis in these cell lines at 0 to 10 μM over 3 to 6 days[2].

Otherwise, at the concentration of 6 μM for 48 h, CNDAC induces cell cycle arrest in the G2 phase following a delayed S phase in HCT116 cells[3].
