Vanillin, widely used in foods as flavoring, is a major extraction of vanilla bean. It has many biological activities, such as anti-cancer activity, anti-mutagenic activity and so on [1-3] . In vitro studies, vanillin was found to have the ability of inhibiting metastatic gene expression and migration of malignant melanoma cells through the STAT3-HIF-1α signaling pathway [1] . Besides this, vanillin, combined with propylparaben, could inhibit the disappearance of Phenylephrine in LS180 cells [2] . In vivo studies, vanillin was reported to improve histopathological changes of skin in mice, treated with various amounts of vanillin for 7 days. When the mice was given 100 mg/kg vanillin, the thickness and number of cell layers of epidermis in mice would be reduced by 29 ± 14.4 and 27.8 ± 11%. In addition, vanillin could decrease the amount of special immune factors and infiltration of immune cells in the skin of mice [3] .
