Tanshinone IIB {[allProObj[0].p_purity_real_show]}

Tanshinone IIB (TSB), a natural product isolated and purified from the roots of Salvia miltiorrhiza, can significantly inhibit the DNA laddering, cytotoxicity and apoptosis of rat cortical neurons induced by staurosporine in a concentration-dependent manner. Tanshinone IIB showed inhibitory effect on PL(pro) with IC50 value of 10.7μM and less inhibitory effect on 3CLpro with IC50 value of 24.8μM.

Tanshinone IIB 生物活性

描述 Tanshinone IIB (TSB), a natural product isolated and purified from the roots of Salvia miltiorrhiza, can significantly inhibit the DNA laddering, cytotoxicity and apoptosis of rat cortical neurons induced by staurosporine in a concentration-dependent manner. TSB also suppresses the elevated Bax protein and decreased bcl-2 and caspase-3 proteins induced by staurosporine in rat cortical neurons, and is effective in reducing stroke-induced brain damage and may represent a drug candidate for further development.
