描述 Poloxamer 188, a nonionic linear copolymer, exhibits surfactant properties and demonstrates anti-thrombotic, anti-inflammatory, and cytoprotective effects across various tissue injury models, making it suitable for drug delivery applications[1][2][3][4]. As a non-ionic linear copolymer, Poloxam188 has the capability of surfactant and has antithrombotic, anti-inflammatory and cytoprotective effects in the case of tissue damage.[1].
体内研究

An intravenous dose of 150 mg/kg of Poloxamer 188, administered 240 minutes apart, effectively mitigates ischemia-reperfusion-associated muscular edema and lipid peroxidation[3].
体外研究

At concentrations ranging from 10 to 1000 μM for five hours, Poloxamer 188 provides protection to cerebral microvascular endothelial cells (MBEC) in mice[2].

The incorporation of Docetaxel into PLGA/poloxamer 188 nanoparticles enhances drug uptake and cytotoxicity in docetaxel-resistant MCF-7 TAX30 human breast cancer cells, compared to Docetaxel-loaded PLGA nanoparticles[4].
