ANA-12 (0.5 mg/kg, i.p.) partially reduces overall endogenous TrkB activity in the mouse brain. When administered to mice, ANA-12 exhibits anxiolytic and antidepressant effects at a dosage of 0.5 mg/kg. ANA-12 (0.5, 1.0, and 2.0 mg/kg) does not impact neuron viability[1].
ANA-12 (0.5 mg/kg) displays antidepressant properties against depression-like behaviors induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS). ANA-12 (0.5 mg/kg) markedly reduces the prolonged immobility time observed in mice with depression. However, in the Tail Suspension Test (TST), Forced Swim Test (FST), and Sucrose Preference Test (SPT), ANA-12 (0.5 mg/kg) does not exhibit antidepressant-like effects in control mice[2].
ANA-12 (0.5 mg/kg, i.p.) counteracts the reduced self-administration of cocaine in CocSired rats[3].
