Primaquine/伯氨喹 生物活性

描述 Primaquine serves as an effective antimalarial drug and a strong gametocytocide for falciparum malaria. It also prevents relapses in vivax and ovale malaria[1][2].
体内研究

Primaquine (5-25 mg/kg; pO; daily; for 3 days) shows neither bioluminescence signal in the liver nor blood stage parasitemia[2].
体外研究

Primaquine notably reduces the proliferation of viable breast cancer cells without affecting the growth of MCF-7 (ER+) and MDA-MB-453 (HER2+) cells. It impedes the proliferation, migration, and colony formation of breast cancer cells in vitro[3].
