| 描述 | Nanchangmycin is a polyether antibiotic derived from Streptomyces nanchangensis NS3226, known for its inhibitory action against gram-positive bacteria[1]. Nanchangmycin, recognized as a broad-spectrum antiviral, is effective against the Zika virus. Nanchangmycin is a strong inhibitor of Zika virus (ZIKV) entry in all tested cell types, including primary cells that are physiologically significant. It effectively reduces infections by all three ZIKV strains in these cell types, with IC50 values ranging from 0.1 to 0.4 μM, and exhibits low toxicity within these concentrations. Additionally, Nanchangmycin also inhibits the Dengue virus (DENV) across various cell types[2]. |
