N3PT 生物活性

描述	3PT is a potent and selective transketolase inhibitor, binds to the enzyme upon pyrophosphorylation with a dissociation constant (Kd) of 22 nM for the apoenzyme form of transketolase (Apo-TK), which lacks bound thiamine diphosphate^[1].
体内研究	N3PT administered intravenously at 100 mg/kg twice a day for two weeks inhibited transketolase activity but did not exhibit significant anti-tumor activity in HCT-116 tumor-bearing nude mice^[1].
体外研究	Arginase inhibitor 1 targets and inhibits human arginases I and II with IC50 values of 223±22.3 and 509±85.1 nM, respectively. Demonstrating significant activity in a recombinant cellular assay and in a rat model of myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury (MI/RI), it shows a specific efficacy against human arginase I with an IC50 of 8 μM in CHO cells overexpressing hArgI^[1].
