Isodiospyrin/异柿醌生物活性

描述

Isodiospyrin, a natural product isolated and purified from the herbs of Diospyros morrisiana, exhibits remarkably good antifungal activity, the MIC values of the isodiospyrin was 5-160 μg/mL & the MFC values was 40-160 μg/mL. Isodiospyrin has a broad spectrum of antibacterial activity. The MIC values of isodiospyrin against Gram-positive bacteria ranged from 0.78 to 50 mg/mL. While those against Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 15443 and S. typhi ranged from 50 to 100 mg/mL.exhibits cytotoxic activity to tumor cell lines. It also inhibits hTOPO I by direct binding to htopo I, which limits hTOPO I access to the DNA substrate, and exhibits strong inhibitory effect on the kinase activity of htopo I toward splicing factor 2/alternate splicing factor in the absence of DNA.
