ATP/三磷酸腺苷 生物活性

描述 Adenosine 5'-triphosphate (ATP) is a crucial component of energy storage and metabolism within the body. It not only provides the metabolic energy required for operating metabolic pumps but also acts as a coenzyme in various cellular processes. Additionally, ATP plays a significant role as an endogenous signaling molecule in immune responses and inflammation[1].[2].
体内研究

Furthermore, ATP induces the secretion of inflammatory cytokines and recruits neutrophils in vivo, enhancing immune responses[4].

体外研究

When combined with LPS (1 μg/mL) at a concentration of 5 mM for one hour, ATP exhibits a synergistic effect on the activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome in human gingival fibroblasts (HGFs)[3].

At a concentration of 2 mM, ranging from 0.5 to 24 hours, ATP triggers the secretion of IL-1β, KC, and MIP-2 from bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDMs) in a manner dependent on caspase-1 activation[4].

ATP also facilitates neutrophil chemotaxis in vitro and protects mice against bacterial infections when administered intraperitoneally at a dose of 50 mg/kg[4].
