| 描述 | Alpha-mangostin, a natural xanthonoid, has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The IC50 values of α-mangostin in MCF-7 cells were 3.57 μM in 24 h and 2.74 μM in 48 h. As for MDA-MB-231 cells, the IC50 values were 3.35 μM in 24 h and 2.26 μM in 48 h. α-mangostin induced breast cancer cells apoptosis in a dose-dependent manner, reaching very high levels at 4 μM[3]. In vitro, α-mangostin significantly reduced cell viability and induced apoptotic cell death. In addition, α-mangostin significantly disrupted the integrity of mitochondria measured by loss of MMP in a concentration-dependent manner[4]. | ||
