描述 Texas Red (Sulforhodamine 101) is an amphoteric rhodamine red fluorescent dye (excitation/emission: 586/605 nm) that can be used as a specific markerfor astrocytes and an activity-dependent probe for monitoring regulated exocytosis[1]. Texas Red (Sulforhodamine 101) has been reported to induce long-term potentiation of intrinsic neuronal excitability and long-lasting increase in evoked excitatory postsynaptic potentials in CA1 pyramidal neurons in hippocampal slices[2].
