| 描述 | (E)-Osmundacetone is the E form of Osmundacetone. Osmundacetone is a biologically active fermented chemical isolated from Phellinus igniarius. It selectively reduces the increment of A549 and H460 cells.In addition, it has also shown neuroprotective effects against glutamate toxicity, which may be a potential drug to support the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. By reducing the accumulation of ROS and stimulating the expression of heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) and heme oxygenase 1 (HO-1), Osmanthus acetone triggers the self-defense mechanism of neuronal cells. The anti-apoptotic effect of osmundacetone is demonstrated by its inhibition of chromatin condensation, calcium accumulation and reduction of apoptotic cells. | ||
