描述 G-418, also known as Geneticin, is an aminoglycoside antibiotic with a structure similar to that of gentamicin. It is toxic to both eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells and acts by interfering with protein synthesis[1].At a concentration of 500 μg/mL for 12 days, G-418 can be used to screen for drug-resistant LNCaP-stable cell lines[1].
