| 描述 | The glucagon receptor (GCGR), a class B G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR), is the principal regulator of glucagon action in the liver. Glucagon receptor (Gcgr) plays a key role in regulating both glucose and lipid metabolisms. Glucagon is a linear peptide containing 29 amino acids. It is secreted by islet α cells and mainly targets the liver cells. After glucagon specifically binds to GCGR, it promotes liver glycogen breakdown and increases blood glucose levels to stimulate insulin release. | ||
