生物活性
描述 3,4-Dihydroxybenzaldehyde, a phenolic acid compound, has many biological activities. In vitro studies, 3,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde could improve the oxidative DNA damage and apoptosis induced by hydrogen peroxide [1] . Besides this, 3,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde also contributes to the inhibition of protein kinase CKII activity [2] . In vivo studies, it was found that 3,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde could ameliorate cerebral ischemia-reperfusion-induced oxidative injury and have neuroprotective effect through the PKCε/Nrf2/HO-1 pathway in Sprague-Dawley rats [3] . In addition, 3,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde also has the ability of relieving symptoms of sepsis induced by caecal ligation and puncture (CLP) in rats [4] .
