It facilitates the transport of long-chain fatty acyl-CoAs into the mitochondria for degradation by β-oxidation. Moreover, L-Carnitine hydrochloride serves as an antioxidant and has been shown to ameliorate metabolic imbalances in various inborn errors of metabolism[1].[2].[3]. | ||
