描述 Apoptosis s a well understood form of regulated cell death. The unique morphological and biochemical changes associated with apoptosis are due to the executioner caspase proteases. CIL62 is an inducer of caspase-3/7-independent cell death. The mechanism of action of CIL62 is Necrostatin-1 dependent cell death. CIL62 induced cell death that was suppressed by Necrostatin-1. 19 µM (5 µg/mL) Necrostatin-1 suppresseed CIL62, but CIL62 was not suppressed by the ferroptosis inducers (antioxidants or iron-chelators)[2].
