生物活性
描述 (-)-Catechin is Catechin's one kind of different structure. Catechin inhibits enzyme-1 (COX-1) with IC50 of 1.4 μM. (-) -Catechin promotes hBM-MSC adipocyte differentiation, increase adipocyte differentiation, and increase PPARγ levels[1]. At a concentration of 10 μM applied in a 2-day cycle over a total of 12 days, (-)-Catechin promotes adipocyte differentiation in human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (hBM-MSC). This treatment leads to elevated levels of adiponectin and enhanced transcription of PPARγ[1].
