描述

ZLDI-8 acts as an inhibitor of the Notch activating/cleaving enzyme ADAM-17, preventing Notch protein cleavage. It reduces the levels of proteins associated with survival, anti-apoptosis, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). Furthermore, ZLDI-8 serves as a competitive and irreversible inhibitor of tyrosine phosphatase (Lyp), exhibiting an IC50 of 31.6 μM and a Ki of 26.22 μM. It effectively curbs the proliferation of MHCC97-H cells with an IC50 of 5.32 μM^[1]^[2].

ZLDI-8 treatment (0.2-2 mg/kg; intraperitoneal injection; every two days; for 20 days; nude mice) boosts the efficacy of Sorafenib in suppressing tumor growth in a nude mouse model of HCC^[1].
