描述 Pyronin Y (Pyronine G) is a cationic dye that intercalates into RNA and targets cellular structures such as RNA, DNA, and organelles. It forms fluorescent complexes with double-stranded nucleic acids, particularly RNA, facilitating semi-quantitative analysis of cellular RNA. Pyronin Y is also used to identify specific RNA subspecies and ribonucleoprotein complexes in living cells[1][2][5].
