Animal study

In vivo studies reveal that intraperitoneal administration of LB-100 at 2 mg/kg leads to a time-dependent decrease in protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A) activity within xenografts and livers of nude mice, without affecting the expression levels of PP2A subunits (PP2A_A, PP2A_B, and PP2A_C), as demonstrated by immunoblotting. When LB-100 is combined with doxorubicin, administered at 1.5 kg/mL every other day, there's a significant tumor growth inhibition observed, showcasing a notable reduction in tumor volume in treated animals compared to those receiving monotherapy, highlighting LB-100's potential to improve cancer treatment outcomes^[2].
