Golotimod TFA 生物活性

描述 Golotimod TFA (SCV 07 TFA), an immunomodulatory peptide with antimicrobial properties, enhances the effectiveness of antituberculosis treatments, promotes proliferation in thymic and splenic cells, and boosts macrophage function. It also inhibits STAT3 signaling, reducing the duration and severity of oral mucositis in animal models exposed to radiation alone or combined with Cisplatin. Furthermore, Golotimod TFA (SCV 07 TFA) shows promise as a treatment for recurrent genital herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2)[1][2][3].

Golotimod TFA 动物研究

Animal study Golotimod (SCV-07) TFA, administered either orally or subcutaneously at 100 μg/kg for five days, decreases recurrent genital HSV-2 disease in experiments. Notably, when administered orally after fasting, SCV-07 demonstrates a more significant reduction in both the incidence and severity of the disease compared to administration without fasting in female Hartley guinea pigs[1].Golotimod (SCV-07) TFA, administered subcutaneously at 100 μg/kg once or twice daily from days 1 to 20, alleviates the severity and duration of acute and split radiation-induced oral mucositis (OM) and shortens the duration of ulcerative OM in male LVG golden Syrian hamsters[3].
