Anthracene-9-carboxylic acid/9-蒽甲酸 生物活性

描述 Anthracene-9-carboxylic acid is an anthracene derivative traditionally used to block and identify Ca2+-activated Cl- currents (CaCC) in various cell types, such as different smooth muscle cells, epithelial cells, and salivary gland cells. In HEK 293T cells, Anthracene-9-carboxylic acid induces voltage-dependent block of outward currents and inhibits a larger proportion of the current with increasing depolarization. Following depolarizing voltage, Anthracene-9-carboxylic Acid causes a marked enhancement of the tail current at -100 mV and prolongs the inactivation kinetics in HEK 293T cells[1]. Anthracene-9-carboxylic acid, at concentration of 500 μM, produces a modest inhibition of the maximal outward Cl- current at +70 mV (21±10%), but enhances the amplitude of the instantaneous inward relaxation at -80 mV by 321±34%, in rabbit pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells[2].
