Angiotensin II human acetate/血管紧张素 II 醋酸盐 生物活性

描述 Angiotensin II human (Angiotensin II), a major bioactive peptide of the renin/angiotensin system, plays a central role in regulating human blood pressure, mainly through interactions with the G-protein-coupled receptors Angiotensin II type 1 receptor (AT1R) and Angiotensin II type 2 receptor (AT2R). It stimulates sympathetic nervous activity, increases aldosterone biosynthesis and renal actions, and induces growth in vascular smooth muscle cells. It also increases collagen synthesis in fibroblasts, leading to thickening of the vascular wall and myocardium, and promotes fibrosis and apoptosis. Angiotensin II human acetate stimulates capillary formation from endothelial cells through a LOX-1 dependent redox-sensitive pathway [1][2][3][4].

Animal study Angiotensin II human (5 mL of 1 nM; intraperitoneal injection; 200-250 g Sprague-Dawley rats) acetate induces significant neutrophil recruitment that peaks at 4 hours and resolves by 24 hours [4].To identify the AT1 receptor population critical for the development of hypertension, osmotic minipumps are implanted subcutaneously into each animal to continuously infuse Angiotensin II human (1000 ng/kg/min) acetate for 4 weeks. This treatment induces hypertension by activating AT1 receptors in the kidneys, promoting sodium reabsorption [5].
