Amantadine/金刚胺 生物活性

描述 Amantadine, known chemically as 1-Adamantanamine, is a potent orally active antiviral agent effective against influenza A viruses. It also blocks various ion channels, including NMDA and M2, and inhibits Coronavirus ion channels, showcasing its broad antiviral capabilities. Additionally, Amantadine possesses anti-orthopoxvirus and anticancer activities, making it applicable in Parkinson's disease, postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD), and COVID-19 research[1].[2].[3].[4].[5].[6].

Animal study In animal models, Amantadine at a dosage of 25 mg/kg, administered intraperitoneally once daily for three days, effectively reduces surgery-induced neuroinflammation and mitigates associated impairments in learning and memory[5].
