| 描述 | W-84 dibromide acts as a strong allosteric enhancer for M2-cholinoceptors, slowing the dissociation of [3H]N-methylscopolamine. It has the ability to fortify the bond between cholinergic antagonists and their receptors. As an allosteric antagonist of muscarinic acetylcholine receptors, W-84 dibromide operates non-competitively. Additionally, it offers more than additive protection against organophosphate poisoning when used alongside atropine[1][2][3]. The enhanced stability of antagonist-receptor complexes due to W-84 dibromide could account for the synergistic protective effect observed when atropine and W-84 dibromide are combined against organophosphate poisoning[1]. | ||
