描述 | Tuberostemonine is a natural product isolated from the roots of Stemona japonica, which shows therapeutic effects against cigarette smoke-induced acute lung inflammation in mice and acts as an open-channel blocker at the crayfish neuromuscular junction. Tuberstemonine displayed the highest level of inhibition (55.4%) of diaphorase activity of PfFNR(Plasmodium falciparum)[3]. Tuberostemonine could reverse the multidrug resistance of K562/ADR via down-regulating the expression of Nf-κB and inhibiting th1e expression of Survivin[4]. At the crayfish neuromuscular junction, tuberostemonine, an alkaloid from Stemona japonica, reduced the amplitude of both the excitatory junctional potential (e.j.p.) and the glutamate response in a dose-dependent manner at concentrations above 0.1 mM. Tuberostemonine acted presynaptically on the crayfish neuromuscular junction to reduce a quantal content of extracellularly recorded e.j.p.s, and postsynaptically to reduce their unit size. The decay of the excitatory synaptic current was accelerated by tuberostemonine. The inhibitory action of tuberostemonine on glutamate responses was voltage-dependent and hyperpolarization increased the drug action[5]. TS (tuberostemonine) has anti-inflammatory effects against CS(cigarette smoke)-induced acute lung inflammation[6]. |
