| 描述 | Sulcotrione, a β-triketene herbicide, inhibits HPPD. Sulcotrione is a time-dependent reversible inhibitor. Previously, similar results have been seen with natural β-triketone and synthetic β-triketone NTBC. However, this is the first time that such behaviour has been observed using purified HPPD and synthetic β-triketone, namely sulcotrione. Inhibition kinetics analyses using 3 hydroxyphenylpyruvate (HPP) and sulcotrione concentrations showed that Kmapp increased with increasing sulcotrione concentration. This behaviour is consistent with data in the literature describing Sulcotrione as a competitive inhibitor of HPPD[1]. | ||
