| 描述 | Astaxanthin is a xanthophyll carotenoid which is found in various microorganisms and marine animals. Astaxanthin reduced the DNA oxidative damage biomarker inflammation and astaxanthin showed protective effect on high glucose induced oxidative stress, inflammation and apoptosis in proximal tubular epithelial cells[3].The serum adiponectin level was also increased by astaxanthin (12 or 18 mg/day), and the changes of adiponectin positively correlated with the high-density lipoprotein (HDL)-cholesterol changes[4]. | ||
