描述	Diosgenin, a steroidal saponin, inhibits the STAT3 signaling pathway[1]. It also acts as an exogenous activator of Pdia3/ERp57[2]. Diosgenin diminishes the progression of aortic atherosclerosis by decreasing macrophage miR-19b expression[5].
